4-1. Setting Up the Camera  
1. Setup the camera in the desired location  
 
2. Connect the camera to the adapter and then slide the power switch to the ON  
position  
Note:  
--This camera can also use dry batteries as a power source by loading 4 AA  
batteries into the battery compartment on the back of the camera with their  
polarities in the correct position.  
--The AC adapter will work instead of batteries after it is plugged in. If the  
camera is not going to be used for a long period of time, please unplug the  
adapter and remove the batteries.  
* The camera can run off of batteries for up to 5 hours (IR OFF)  
3. Rotate the rounded head of the camera to the desired angle for surveillance.  
 
4-1-1. Camera Learning Setup  
If there is interference from another wireless device the Learning Switch can  
program the unit to avoid it. Push the Learning Switch on the back of the camera  
from OFF to ON, then press the Eliminate button on the receiver for 3 seconds.  
The picture will become clearer on the screen.  
4-1-2. Camera Alarm Setup  
1. The camera provides a Sound Detection alarm.  
 
Sound Alarm Setup:  
To set up the sound alarm slide the alarm switch to the VOX position. The  
system will enter standby mode until a sound triggers the alarm. When sound is  
detected the alarm sounds for two minutes or until the Eliminate Alarm button is  
pressed, which will put the system into snooze mode for 35 seconds. After the  
35 seconds is up the alarm will go back into standby mode until triggered by the  
next sound alarm event.  
Turn Off Alarm:  
To turn off the alarm slide the alarm setting switch to the Off position. The alarm  
function will be disabled.  
Note:  
The Sound alarm will be turned off automatically if the Eliminate Alarm button  
is not pressed within 2 minutes after the alarm sounds. If both the battery and  
A/C adapter are in use and the alarm setup failed to trigger, turn the camera and  
the receiver off and then back on to re-activate the alarm.  
4-2. Setting Up the Receiver  
1. Connect the receiver to the adapter and then slide the power switch to the ON  
position.  
 
Note:

2. Adjust the volume control to the desired level.  
 
3. Set the channel of the receiver to the same channel as the camera by pressing  
the channel button continuously, the pictures will display on the screen when the  
channels match.  
Note:  
The receiver supports up to 4 cameras working at the same time. If there are 2, 3,  
or 4 cameras working you can press and hold the channel button about 3 seconds  
to enter auto-switch-browse mode and the channels will by displayed one by one  
for 6 seconds at a time.
